Statement of Need / Activity Purpose |
ACTIVITY EN332-1021 Biofluid biomarkers have established value in predicting cognitive and functional decline. However, their cross-sectional and longitudinal associations with neuropsychiatric symptoms are widely unknown. Biological predictors of neuropsychiatric syndromes may be useful for diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for dementia. Conversely, neuropsychiatric syndromes may also serve as proxy markers for neuropathological change. |
