Atypical Alzheimer's Disease PIA: Year in Review

Dr. Keir Yong, Alzheimer's Society Fellow, Dementia Research Centre, University College London, considers 2020 advances in our understanding of atypical Alzheimer’s disease. Key themes are discussed regarding canonical atypical clinical phenotypes of AD and atypicality based on neuropathology, neuroimaging and molecular biomarker studies. Predictions for 2021 are made regarding atypical AD research and wider implications regarding phenotypic heterogeneity across the AD spectrum.
