Recorded: March 10, 2022

Hear from the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP) an introduction and overview of CDMRP global funding opportunities. CDMRP oversees the investment of USA congressionally directed dollars to fund groundbreaking, high-impact, high-risk, high-reward, meritorious research that targets critical research gaps to institutions across the globe. One of CDMRP's Programs, the Peer Reviewed Alzheimer's Research Program (PRARP) will share more about priorities and funding opportunities. The PRARP supports research to (1) understand the association between traumatic brain injury, other military service-related risk factors, and Alzheimer’s disease/Alzheimer’s disease related dementias, and (2) improve quality of life and reduce the burden on affected individuals and caregivers for the military, Veterans, and the public.
