Target Audience / Intended Audience | This activity is intended to meet the educational needs of radiologists, neurologists, geriatricians, primary care clinicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants who are seeking additional education in the assessment, diagnosis and ongoing health care of patients with cognitive impairment and dementia. |
Statement of Need / Activity Purpose |
This activity provides multidisciplinary perspectives and practical approaches from clinical neurology, radiology, and emergency room care. The faculty will cover coordination of patient selection, risk-benefit discussions, detection and management of amyloid related imaging abnormalities (ARIA), and acute presentations of ARIA in the emergency room. |
